Bill Graham - Obituary
Thursday, February 01, 2007 by Irene Rostron

BILL GRAHAM Enthusiasts throughout the amateur theatre world will be saddened to hear of the death on the 30th December of BILL GRAHAM, for many years Scotland’s foremost amateur director, known for his outstanding achievements (not least with TRYST Theatre at one-act and full-length festivals throughout the U.K. and in the IATA World Theatre Festival). In 1998 Bill received a “Great Scot” Award from the Sunday Mail for his services to Scottish Theatre, and eulogies on his demise refer to him as “a national treasure ……..”. A full tribute will appear in the MARCH issue.
